Privacy Policy

Last updated September 13, 2026

ScreenSorts is a local-first Mac app. This policy is short because there isn't much to say: the app does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data anywhere but your own Mac.

What ScreenSorts does on your Mac

What ScreenSorts does not do

File access

ScreenSorts runs inside Apple's App Sandbox. It only reads folders you explicitly grant it access to (via the system file picker or folder-watch permission prompts), and it only writes its own index and thumbnails to its private app data folder.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
